User Instructions

1. Take a photo* of a wound or load a photo that was taken previously and has been saved on the device.

*It is important that the wound is in the center of the image. This photo is NOT automatically saved to the device. The User must select this option in the results screen.

2. Outline the wound using the area of interest controls 'H' and 'W'.

3. Press the 'RYB' button.
This will process the image and overlay the new Red-Yellow-Black color scheme on the image.

If the color levels have not been calculated satisfactorily, the User may increase (or decrease) the levels of the individual colors (using the R,Y and B sliders) until the User is satisfied with the analysis.

4. Press the 'Results' button on the top right of the screen. This will take you to a new results screen with the percentage area covered by R,Y, B and Other respectively clearly displayed.

5. The User may now review the original image and the RYB image.

6. Save the Original Image* or return to the previous screen for further analysis.

*Only the original image may be saved at this time and the processing must be redone each time the image is loaded.
